This Privacy Policy applies to the CeroCycle public website, access request forms and customer platform. In this policy, “CeroCycle”, “we”, “our” and “us” refer to the CeroCycle service.
Information we process
We process information you provide directly, information generated when you use the service and cloud data you choose to connect.
- Contact and access requests
- Work email, company name, cloud spend range and any message you submit.
- Account and workspace information
- Name, work email, role, organization details, preferences and authentication records.
- Connected cloud information
- Billing exports, invoice line items, service, region, resource and tag metadata made available through connections you authorize.
- Technical information
- Device, browser, IP address, security events, logs and product usage needed to operate and protect the service.
How we use information
We use information to provide and secure the platform, attribute cloud spend, identify anomalies, calculate forecasts and comparisons, produce carbon outputs, respond to access requests, support customers and improve service reliability.
Where applicable, processing is based on performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service, compliance with legal obligations, or consent.
Connected cloud data
CeroCycle is designed around read-only access. We do not install agents or make resource changes through billing connections. Access is limited to the permissions configured by the customer. Credentials and authorization material are protected and are not intentionally stored in plain text.
Customers remain responsible for configuring access permissions, tags and connected data sources appropriately.
When information is shared
We do not sell personal data. We may share limited information with service providers that support hosting, authentication, communications, security, analytics and customer support. These providers may process data only for the services they provide to us.
Information may also be disclosed where required by law, to protect rights and security, or in connection with a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
International processing
Some service providers may process information outside your country. Where required, we use contractual and organizational safeguards intended to protect information during international transfers.
Retention
We keep information only for as long as needed to provide the service, meet contractual or legal obligations, resolve disputes and maintain security records. Retention periods vary by data type. Deletion requests are handled subject to legal, security and backup requirements.
